Last week, a good friend of mine gave me The Happiness Project, an enlightening account of the author, Gretchen Rubin's pursuit to actively live her life and have more fun doing so. She takes each month to focus on a specific aspect in her life including work, love, money and family. It's such a relatable book that I felt a sense of urgency to return to this blog and continue my own happiness project, The Art of Discovery.
Gretchen Rubin started her own project with an outline of each month and it's particular focus. For me, being present and zeroing in on a particular part of my life will help to give me a fresh perspective and force me to slow down and appreciate everything around me. Now, I'm not the type of person that makes New Years Resolutions or rather not the type of persons that makes resolutions and keeps them, but that's where this blog comes in again. Not only will it keep a record of my life accounts, but it will keep me accountable with this huge task I'm setting for myself. I'm still working out a break down of each month and am looking forward to revealing it New Year's Day! See ya in 2012.
